The Rubber Board is a statutory body constituted under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. Headquartered in Kottayam, Kerala, the Board is responsible for the overall development of the rubber industry in the country. It focuses on regulating rubber production, assisting growers with technical support, and managing research and extension services to enhance both quality and yield, particularly across key regions like Northeast India.

Name of Post: Technical Human Resource – Young Professional – Extension Services (Temporary)
Number of Posts: 25 positions in total (distributed across various regional offices)
Scale of Pay: A consolidated stipend of ₹40,000 per month (broken down as ₹30,000 per month as salary + ₹10,000 per month as TA/DA)

1. Eligibility Conditions
- Educational Qualification: You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Forestry, OR a Master’s degree in Botany or Plant Science (or an equivalent degree from a recognized university).
- Age Limit: You must not be more than 30 years old as of June 1, 2026.
- Experience: Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in agricultural extension, particularly within rubber cropping systems.
- Desirable Qualification: Proficiency in the local language is preferred.
2. Selection Process
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called to attend an interview at their respective Regional Offices.
- Regional Selection: The selection of Young Professionals is done Regional Office-wise, though selected candidates can be deployed to any other Regional Office in the Northeast region based on service exigencies.
