The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) is an autonomous state-level academic body in India responsible for enhancing the quality of school education. It acts as the apex authority for designing school curricula, revising age-appropriate textbooks, conducting educational research, and facilitating comprehensive pre-service and in-service teacher training programs.

- Programme Manager: ₹60,000 per month
- Academic Consultant: ₹45,000 per month

Other Criteria of SCERT Recruitment 2026
Eligibility Criteria
- Programme Manager
- Qualification: Post-Graduate in Management.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of overall experience (preferably at least 5 years handling educational project management, data handling, analysis, and report writing).
- Desirable: Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Academic Consultant
- Qualification:
- Science / Mathematics: Post-Graduation in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, or Botany.
- Language: Post-Graduation in English or Assamese.
- Social Science: Post-Graduation in History, Geography, Political Science, or Economics.
- Bodo: Post-Graduation in Bodo.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
- Desirable: Experience in creating educational e-content.
- 3. Video Editor
- Qualification: Graduation in Graphics/Animations/Video Editing/Media Production & Management, OR Graduation in any discipline with a minimum 1-year Diploma in Graphics/Animations/Video Editing/Media Production.
- Experience: 2 years of practical experience in video editing, animation, or video production.
- Camera Person
- Qualification: Graduation in any discipline along with a Diploma/Certificate course covering videography, cinematography, or film production.
- Experience: 2 years of practical experience in video shooting, operating video/movie cameras, sound, lighting, and studio equipment.
- 5. Data Analyst cum Account Assistant
- Qualification & Requirements: Relevant degree/diploma with proficiency in data management and accounts.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Applications will be screened based on essential qualifications and experience.
- Skill Test / Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for a Skill Test/Interview.
- Notice Board: The list of shortlisted candidates and test schedule will be published on the official SCERT website. Individual communications will not be sent.
Other Key Requirements
- Nature of Engagement: Purely temporary for 8 months or until the project terminates, whichever is earlier.
- Document Submission: Candidates must submit self-attested copies of all educational mark sheets/certificates, age proof (HSLC Admit Card/Certificate), experience certificates, and valid ID proof alongside the application form.
