About BBCI
Established by the Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Society Trust, the Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI) stands as a tribute to the legacy of its namesake—a distinguished Assamese physician, philanthropist, and freedom fighter. Though the vision for the hospital was conceived in 1958 under the leadership of Founder President Debendra Nath Sarma and Founder Secretary Dr. Kanak Chandra Borooah, it officially opened its doors in November 1973.

2. Mode of Selection & Scheme of Examination
- Initial Screening: Candidates will be initially screened based on their qualifications and experience. BBCI reserves the right to fix minimum bench marks (such as graduate/postgraduate marks percentages) to restrict the number of candidates called for further evaluation.
- Selection Process: Eligible shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a Written Examination / Skill Test & Interview.
- Paper Pattern: The examination will be a 100-mark paper consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) or Subjective questions.
- Syllabus: Questions will cover the respective area of specialization/expertise, general knowledge, numerical aptitude, and current affairs.
3. General Conditions & Document Verification
- Application Method: Candidates must apply exclusively through the online registration link before the deadline (21/06/2026). Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- Mandatory Documents: Candidates called for the test or interview must carry original documents along with one set of photocopies for verification. Required documents include:
- Valid Identity Proof (Aadhaar, PAN, or Voter ID).
- Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate, School Leaving Certificate, or S.S.C. Passing Certificate).
- Educational Qualifications (Mark sheets and Passing Certificates of final exams).
- Experience Certificates (For current employment: Appointment letter, last month’s pay slip, and an NOC).
- Nature of Appointment: The positions are purely temporary and on a contractual basis initially for 6 months, extendable based on performance till the project co-terminates. This recruitment does not confer any right to permanent employment.
